Video Demo: Paparazzi – Augmented Reality Android app

Pixel Punch has launched an innovative Augmented Reality app called Paparazzi for the Android phones. This is actually an interesting game that lets you become a paparazzo and take the picture of an augmented celebrity to earn money. This app has won the 1st place in the Qualcomm’s Augmented reality challenge.

To play this game you need a one dollar bill or just download the Paparazzi Marker and print it. Just open the app and point the phone’s camera on the one dollar bill or the marker and start clicking the pictures of the augmented celebrity to earn money.

Rather than the other games, this game continues even when you move the phone away from the camera. The celebrity hangs on to the camera when gets annoyed and even tries to break it and the game ends. To prevent it , you just need to shake the phone and let him fall. This app uses marker detection and accelerometer for off-marker experience.
