Apple said to release new MacBook Air with white bezels, new colours in 2022

With the launch of the new Apple M1 Pro and M1 Max processors last week, Apple refreshed their MacBook Pro lineup with major upgrades across the board. According to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, Apple is reportedly working on new models in the MacBook Air lineup which is expected to have the biggest redesign since 2010.

In his latest edition of the Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman talks about how Apple does not have any major announcements planned for the rest of 2021. The launch of the new MacBook Pro models were quite successful, with Apple receiving a lot of positive feedback for upgrades made on the new lineup.

Apple is expected to launch a new model of the MacBook Air within the next 6-8 months, and it is expected to have a major redesign. The ultra-thin laptop will reportedly have a design language similar to the 24-inch M1 iMacs, with white bezels around the display and loads of colour options.

Mark Gurman also expects Apple to introduce a larger iMac with improved Apple Silicon, a new Mac mini, a new iPhone SE, and a new iPad Pro within the next year.
