ASUS Vivobook Pro, Zenbook 14X OLED, Zenbook 14 Flip OLED and ProArt Studiobook 16 laptops announced


Yesterday, at an event, ASUS announced new laptop refreshes across their Vivobook, Zenbook and ProArt Studiobook series, including the Zenbook 14X OLED, Zenbook 14 Flip OLED, Vivobook Pro and ProArt Studiobook 16. They are designed for creatives and professionals, featuring OLED display options with PANTONE validation, high-end AMD or Intel CPU options, along with unique features such as the integrated ASUS Dial.

The ProArt Studiobook 16 family of laptops is the newest series from ASUS, offering high quality display options up to an 4K OLED panel with VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, PANTONE Validation and Calman Verified with an ΔE<2, and an ultra-low 0.2ms response time.

The Studiobook 16 series comes with a unique integrated ASUS Dial that is built into the chassis at the upper left-hand corner of the touchpad, allowing users to quick access to the most commonly used functions in creative apps with full customization options. Regarding the internals, the ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 series offers up to an Intel Xeon W-11955M CPU and up to a NVIDIA RTX A5000 GPU, up to 64GB of 3200MHz DDR4 and up to 4TB of fast storage.

The Vivobook Pro laptops feature up to the Core i7-11370H CPU or up to an AMD Ryzen 5900HX CPU, and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU. They can be configured with 16:10 OLED displays up to a resolution of 3840×2400, with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and PANTONE validation. The Vivobook Pro 16X in particular features the virtual ASUS DialPad in the touchpad, while the 14” Vivobook Pro 14 OLED comes with the illuminated NumberPad feature in the touchpad.

The Zenbook 14X OLED and Zenbook 14 Flip OLED on the other hand, also come with 16:10 3840×2400 OLED panels that cover 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut with PANTONE validation. the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED can be equipped with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU and 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM, while the Zenbook 14X OLED comes with an Intel Core i7-1165G7 CPU and a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPU.

The Zenbook 14 Flip OLED features a 360° hinge, has a lightweight 1.4kg and 0.63-inches thin body, while the Zenbook 14X OLED is a regular clamshell laptop with a thickness of 0.67-inches and 1.4kg in weight. The Zenbook 14X OLED also features an exclusive ScreenPad, where the touchpad can behave as secondary display.

The Asus Studiobook Pro line will be available starting at $1,999 (Approx. Rs. 1,46,137), the Zenbook Pro series starts at $1,469 (Approx. Rs. 1,07,391), while the Vivobook Pro series starts at $919 (Approx. Rs. 67,183), and they will all be available first in North America by the end of 2021 and later in other regions.
