OxygenOS 11.2.8.8 for OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro brings July security patch, Bitmoji AOD

After releasing the OxygenOS 11.0.4.4 update for the Nord CE 5G, OnePlus has now released a new update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. It includes bug fixes, new additions to the always-on display, and more.

OxygenOS 11.2.8.8 update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro smartphone adds a new Bitmoji AOD which will liven up the ambient display with the user’s personal Bitmoji avatar. It has been co-designed by Snapchat & Bitmoji and will update throughout the day. Users can access this feature by navigating to Settings -> Customization -> Clock on ambient display -> Bitmoji.

Apart from this, the update brings July 2021 Android security patch, fixes known issues, and improves stability. The update also adds the OnePlus Store app on both smartphones.
