Qubo smart sensors and smart indoor camera launched for Rs. 3000 and Rs. 13490


Hero Electronix has forayed into the consumer technology market with the launch of Qubo, a range of AI connected smart devices. The company has today launched a Smart Indoor Camera, Smart Gas Sensor, Smart Smoke Sensor, and Smart Door/Window Sensor in India.

Qubo Smart Indoor camera has a 2.8-inch touchscreen, is powered by Qualcomm Vision Intelligence Platform 100 paired with 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and the storage can be expanded up to 128GB through microSD. Regarding the optics, there is a 3.2MP camera with ultra size pixel for enhanced low light performance and it is capable of recording 1080p FULL HD videos, offers a 140-degree field of view, and 10 IR LED for night time recording. Other camera features include live streaming, cloud storage, motion detection, objects/person detection, baby cry alert, tamper alert, face detection and recognition and more such features.

It has support for 2.4GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, and Zigbee. Regarding audio, it has a Hi-Fidelity 5W dual-speaker, 2 x Far Field mic array with Noise cancellation, and two-way calling support. It also comes with Alexa built-in and has 6-meter range voice activation for Alexa.

The company also launched a range of sensors including Qubo Smart Gas Sensor, Smart Smoke Sensor, and the Smart Door, and Window Sensor.

Pricing and Availability

The Qubo Smart Indoor Camera is priced at Rs. 13,490 and Smart Sensors are priced at Rs. 3000. Both will be available for purchase on Qubo’s website and will also be available across major e-commerce sites and retail stores from 27th September 2019.
