Apple schedules WWDC 2019 for June 3

Apple just announced that its 30th annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is scheduled from June 3rd till June 7th, as rumored earlier. This time it is holding the event at McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, which is the same venue as past few years.

The company would reveal about the future of iOS and OS X at the event, including iOS 13, macOS 10.15, watchOS 6, and tvOS 13 updates. iOS 13 could bring Dark Mode, new iPad interface updates, new Home screen, updates to Photos, Files, Mail apps, new Emoji that were confirmed recently and more. We should know more details in the coming months.

Apple said that WWDC 2019 will deliver the latest Apple news from the keynote stage and celebrate the breakthrough work of developers who are creating new experiences in areas including machine learning, augmented reality, health and fitness, and more. This year’s program will feature technical sessions, hands-on labs and guest speakers to provide Apple’s existing developer community and the next generation of app developers with the knowledge and tools to help turn their next great idea into reality.

Tickets for WWDC 2019 go on sale from today through March 20 and will cost US$ 1599, same price as previous years. Tickets will be issued to attendees through a random selection process as demand is so high.

For those who cannot attend the event, Apple will also offer live stream on Apple Developer website and on the WWDC app for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV  starting from the keynote on June 3rd and would probably start at 10.00 AM PDT (10:30 PM IST).
