Huawei Watch GT Classic

Huawei might be silently working on a smartwatch; a segment which it isn’t done with yet. The company’s upcoming Watch GT has surfaced on the internet with details. It is possible that the company might be launching the smartwatch along with the Mate 20 series in October.

The watch is said to come in two variant; one is regular and another is a sports model. It is primarily focused on keeping it long-term and at low-price. It is said to sport a 1.39-inch round AMOLED display and pack two side-mounted buttons that can be operated via a touchscreen. It connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth and includes features like a compass, a pressure sensor, and an accelerometer. A heart rate monitor is probably installed along with NFC, GPS.

Huawei’s Watch GT is waterproof and despite being two different models, both have the same “Multi-Sport” and “Sports Coach” functions, with which one can track different sports. Other details like RAM, ROM, chipset is unknown at the moment.

But will pack a large 420mAh battery which is promised to offer 14 days. If we were to guess, the watch might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 and is most likely running the recently updated Google Wear OS. The pricing, however, is unknown but should cost $199-$230.
