Apple investigating iPhone X incoming calls delay glitch

iPhone X

Some users of the iPhone X took it to the Apple support community, Twitter, and Reddit to complain about a glitch that is causing a delay in the incoming calls. The small number of iPhone X units that are affected are not turning on the display for a brief period when receiving a call despite ringing.

Hundreds of iPhone X users are now facing the issue resulting, hard resetting the phone isn’t helping either. With display not turning on for a brief 10-seconds time, it is preventing users from tapping the accept or decline button thus resulting in a call miss. It is also learned that the issue started popping rightly after the X was launched in November. The latest iOS 11.2.5 update doesn’t seem to fix the issue, and it looks like the glitch is affecting iPhone X with iOS versions back to at least 11.2.

However, Apple responded saying that it is looking into the issue. So we can expect an update pretty soon. The company is likely collecting user data from affected customers so that it can acknowledge what’s causing the issue. iPhone X earlier suffered from a weird green line on the screen, temporary unresponsiveness in cold temperatures.
