This week HMD global launched three Nokia phones in India, HTC launch U11 flagship, Samsung launched Galaxy J7 Pro and J7 Max, Huawei’s Honor announced Honor 9. Let’s take a quick look at all the launches and announcement that took place this weekly round up.
HTC launched its flagship U11 smartphone in India for Rs. 51990. It packs a 5.5-inch Quad HD 3D glass screen on the front and 3D glass on the back as well, is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat). It is also dust and water-resistant with IP67 ratings and has Edge Sensor for new squeeze interaction. It has USB-C audio and the new HTC USonic combines Active Noise Cancellation with the ability to tune audio to your unique hearing. The HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition speakers promises more loudness and better Dynamic Range Audio.
The HTC U11 comes in Brilliant Black and Amazing Silver colors, is priced at Rs. 51,990 and will be available across India in the last week of June through offline stores as well as Amazon.in online. Pre-orders on HTC e-store will start from tomorrow, 17th June and customers who pre-order will get a free HTC flip-cover worth Rs. 1,999.
HMD Global launched the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 Android smartphones in India. All these smartphone have dual SIM support and has support for 4G VoLTE for Reliance Jio. The Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 have a polycarbonate body, while the Nokia 6 comes with a unibody metal design. The Nokia 3 has a 5-inch display, the Nokia 5 sports a 5.2-inch display and the Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch display.
The Nokia 3 comes in Matte Black, Silver White, Tempered Blue and Copper White colors, is priced at Rs. 9,499 and will be available exclusively from offline stores starting June 16th, Friday, Nokia 5 comes in Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper colors, is priced at Rs. 12,899, pre-booking starts on July 7 and will be available exclusively from offline stores next month and Nokia 6 comes in Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper colors, is priced at Rs. 14,999 and will be available exclusively from Amazon.in. Registrations will begin July 14th.
Samsung launched Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max, two new mid-range smartphones in the ‘Galaxy J7’ 2017 series in India. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, while the larger Galaxy J7 Max comes with a 5.7-inch 1080p display. These have Samsung Pay (Samsung Pay Mini on J7 Max for UPI and Mobile Wallet Payments), making them the first mid-range smartphones to support Samsung Pay.
Toreto launched a water resistant Bluetooth Earphone, dubbed as TBE-804 Blare. It will offer 8 hours of music playback and up to 10 hours of talk time. Moreover, this headset has a noise cancellation, Bluetooth v4.0, and works at the range of 33 feet or 10 meters. It is powered by a 160mAh battery that can be charged from 0 to 100 in just 2 and half hours of times. Additionally, it has a water resistant feature that comes handy, when you prefer more outdoor activities including jogging or walking in rain.
The Toreto TBE-804 Blare Bluetooth Earphone is now available through e-commerce platforms at a price of Rs. 2499, but you can get it on Amazon.in for Rs. 2,200.
Sennheiser launched its latest Momentum In-Ear, in a wireless version with active noise cancellation, premium neckband design made of high-quality materials, Qualcomm apt-X support and NFC for simple one touch pairing. It supports Bluetooth 4.1 with AAC codec support and comes with a microphone.
The Sennheiser MOMENTUM In-Ear Wireless headphones comes in Black and Ivory colors, is priced at Rs. 14990 and is available from retail stores and Sennheiser online store.
Alcatel launched A3 10, the company’s latest tablet in India. It packs a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 Pixels) display, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 8735B processor, runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat), has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 4G LTE connectivity via SIM and support for voice calling through headset or speaker. The Alcatel A3 10 comes in Volcano Black color, is priced at Rs. 9,999 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart (Currently listed as Alcatel Pixi 5).
Intex launched ELYT e7 that has a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass screen, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor, runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat), has a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, has 4G LTE connectivity with VoLTE and has a fingerprint sensor on the back. The Intex ELYT e7 comes in Golden color, is priced at Rs. 7999 and is available exclusively from Amazon.in.
