Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop unveiled ahead of Computex 2017

Ahead of Computex, Acer has announced a new Windows 10 powered laptop for casual gaming experience dubbed as Nitro 5. This laptop comes with various configurations in terms of graphics, processors and also equipped with Xbox app and Direct X23.

Users can choose NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics paired with 7th Generation Intel Core i7 or i5 processors, or models with AMD Radeon RX550 graphics with 7th Generation AMD A-Series FX, A12 or A10 APUs. All the above models feature Windows 10 and support up to 32GB of DDR4 2400 MHz memory.

The Nitro 5 also has dual fans with Acer Coolboost technology that allows users to manually control the cooling process during heavy use. It comes with 15.6-inch (1920×1080) FHD IPS Display and Dolby Audio Premium, Acer True Harmony technology for an immersive sound experience.

Moreover, the selected models according to the region come equipped with PCle SSDs (up to 512GB) paired with an optional HDD for storage up to 2TB. Additionally, it has USB 3.1 Type-C, One USB 3.0 port with power-off charging, two USB 2.0 ports and an HDMI 2.0 port, which can support up to 90Hz refresh rates.

The Acer Nitro 5 will be initially available in North America starting from July at $799 (approx Rs. 51,517), in EMEA from August at €1,099 (approx Rs. 79,480) and in China from July at ¥5,499 (approx Rs. 51,600).
