Motorola Droid 2 for Verizon is Official , available from Aug 11 for $199.99


Motorola has finally official announced the much expected DROID2 and it will be available as soon as Aug 11 that is tomorrow through the Verizon Wireless online store.The DROID2 is powered by a 1GHz CPU and runs on Android 2.2 bunded with Adobe Flash 10 .1. It also comes with a WiFi Hotspot  feature letting you connect the phone to 5 devices.The 3.7 inch display supports pinch and zoom and multi touch
Other additions include Swype for fast text input and an improved QWERTY keyboard with tactile feedback.It also sports a 5 megapixel camera which also delivers DVD-quality video .  The device is powered by a 1400 mAh battery.

Motorola Droid2 Price and Availability

The DROID 2 will be online on August 11 and it will be in Verizon Wireless Stores from August 12 for a price of $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract.
