Microsoft introduced the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, the company’s flagship smartphones at an event in New York City last month. These smartphones went on pre-order on Amazon in France earlier this month, now the Lumia 950 XL is up for pre-order on the official Microsoft Store in Hong Kong.
The Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are available for pre-order through Amazon in UK for £429.99 ($ 650 / Rs. 43,050 approx.) and £479.99 (US$ 727 / Rs. 47,975 approx.), respectively. This is £20 less than earlier pre-order price. According to Amazon both these smartphones will be available from December 12th in the UK. Microsoft did not reveal the release date for European countries.
The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL is available for pre-order in Hong Kong till November 26th at HK $5988 ( US$ 772 / Rs. 51,020 approx.). It will go on sale in the country from November 27th. It also comes with a free Microsoft Universal foldable keyboard and Jack spade phone case for pre-orders, while stocks last. Hong Kong might be one of the first countries in Asia and Europe to get the smartphone.
These phones are rumored to be released in the US on November 20th. At the announcement last month Microsoft said that the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will start at $549 and $649, respectively before taxes. Last week Microsoft confirmed that these new Lumia smartphones will launch in India next month.
