LG G4 Note/Pro could be dubbed as “LG V10”, tipped for October 10th release


We have seen quite a few leaks of LG’s premium flagship phone LG G4 Note/Pro over the past few weeks. Now, the upcoming phablet from the company has been spotted at China’s TENAA and is also said to be called as LG V10.

The leaked photos shows the G4 Note/Pro with a model number LG-H968 and gives glimpse of the phone from all four angles. Previous rumors had stated that the phone will have a huge 5.8 inch QHD display and the latest leaked TENAA images relates to the screen size. As per the image, the front of the phone sports a refreshed bezel design that many come with usual set of proximity and light sensors that are situated under the display glass to the top-left corner. The front-facing camera has been shifted to the right along with the earpiece.

The G4 Note/Pro was also touted to sport a metal body and this images seconds it as the phone is seen in a metallic frame. Moving on, at the back side the phone continues the trademark LG design of camera along with a laser autofocus unit and a two-tone dual-LED flash. Also seen below the camera are the volume rocker buttons. It looks like the back cover of the phone will be removable but nothing can be confirmed as of now. No other information about the internal specs and hardware of the phone is known yet. The TENAA leak also suggests that the phone will support TD-LTE, LTE FDD, TD-SCMA, WCDMA, and GSM standards.

Previous reports had suggested that the LG G4 Note/Pro is expected to be powered by the existing Snapdragon 810 instead of the updated Snapdragon 820 which has not made its public appearance on any mobile handset. It will come with a huge 4GB of DDR4 RAM. Meanwhile, another report from Korean media says that the LG G4 Note/Pro will be officially released on October 10th. Also leak from popular leakster @evleaks suggests that the phone as a “V10” branding at the lower back and so LG might dub the device as LG V10. He also states that the phone will feature a secondary display. It must be noted that nothing of the above as been made official by LG yet.
