Huawei Watch now available for pre-order, price starts at $349


Huawei showed off its Android Wear powered smartwatch at MWC earlier this year in March. Today, the company has revealed details about pricing and availability of the Huawei Watch at IFA 2015.

The smartwatch has a compact 42mm in diameter casing and is about 11.3mm thick. The Huawei Watch sports a 1.4-inch touch-sensitive AMOLED display with 400 x 400 pixels resolution in 286 ppi at a 10,000:1 high contrast ratio. Its’s display is coated with scratch-proof sapphire crystal and a stainless steel frame. The watch comes with a built-in heart rate monitor and 6-Axis motion sensors and  support IP68 certification that will protect it from dust and water.

The Huawei Watch comes in gold, silver and black colors with stainless steel and leather band options. It will start at $349 for the stainless steel body and basic black leather strap and go up to $799 for the rose gold version. Currently, customers can only order the stainless steel and black-coated steel editions, with gold coming “later this year.” Pre-orders for the watch have started while shipping will being from September 17th.
