Facebook rolls out “On this day” feature that resurfaces your old photos and posts

Facebook has launched a new feature that will take you down to your memory lane. The social network has rolled out “On this day”, that resurfaces old photos and posts.

onthisday

“On This Day shows content from this date in the past. For example, you might see past status updates, photos, posts from friends and other things you’ve shared or been tagged in – from one year ago, two years ago, and so on. Only you will see this content unless you decide to share it with your friends.”

posted Jonathan Gheller, Product Manager, Facebook on a blog.

In order to see your On This Day page, you will have to click on the On This Day bookmark, search for ‘On This Day,’ or visit facebook.com/onthisday. You might also see a story in your News Feed. Users can also enable notifications for any activity from a past date on a daily basis.
