Guvera music streaming service forays in India, Android and iPhone app launched


Guvera music streaming service has officially entered India offering a library of over 12 million tracks via web and mobile platforms. Available on Android and iPhone, Guvera boasts of free music ranging from Bollywood to International artists.

Guvera has teamed up with major music labels and content aggregators in India, including Sony Music, Hungama.com (T-Series & Speed Records), Universal, Saregama, Eros International, Times Music, Believe, Orchard, TuneCore, CDBaby and INGrooves. #Play feature of the service allows users to tailor a music experience based on their current mood, activity or preferences by searching using hashtags(#). They can also search and discover music, as well as manage and share their own playlists. The integrated social features enable users to follow friends and celebrities on Guvera, and access their playlists.

The Australian music service offers both ad-supported as well as ad-free premium plans in India. The premium plan costs INR 199 per month and offers ad-free experience. Users can create personal playlists, access to select tracks, which are not available to free users and more. At present the India has music streaming services like Saavn, Gaana and Hungama.
