Alive launches Augmented Reality wedding cards service


Alive, the augmented reality platform from Times Internet has announced the launch of the ‘Alive Wedding Cards’ service. Based on company’s Alive Studio platform, the service makes wedding cards more interactive with the augmented reality touch.

The platform will offer various services like Multimedia Invite, Wedding Reminders, Venue Locator and Wish the couple. Users can send personal messages in form of video invitations, choose relevant backgrounds and themes, put the venue location on Google Maps etc and enhance a simple wedding card invitation.

“Alive Wedding cards is going to add a new dimension to regular wedding invitation cards and will offer an innovative solution for enhancing wedding cards. Our aim is to extend the power of augmented reality to the end-user and very soon we will be adding more self-create services on Alive Studio platform so that our users can make their own AR campaign and use it in their daily lives.”

said Ajay Vaishnavi, Director – Telecom, Times Internet in an official release.

The company has also announced introductory pricing for these ALIVE Wedding Cards and the price of basic card is set at Rs 10,000.  Alive  claims that it has empowered more than 150 of brands and publications to enrich their print content with Augmented Reality experience.
