Samsung launches ‘Stay New’ 18 months EMI and Buy Back offers for its flagship Galaxy devices

Samsung Stay New

Samsung Mobiles has launched Stay New ownership plan on its flagship Galaxy devices, that lets users buy flagship Galaxy devices  with low EMIs and Easy Buyback offers to upgrade to newer models after 6 months of purchasing a device. The smartphones and tablets covered under the Stay New platform are Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 2, Samsung S4, Samsung S4 Mini, Samsung S3, Galaxy Tab 3 and Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Speaking about the new initiative, Mr. Vineet Taneja, Country Head, Samsung Mobiles & IT said,

The launch of the ‘Stay New’ plan reasserts Samsung’s commitment to make premium Samsung smartphone experience more accessible and affordable. The new plan is in line with our philosophy of bringing the exciting world of smartphones to Indian customers. We are targeting a significant number of new users joining the Samsung family with this category leading initiative. This not only offers a 18-month EMI programme but also an Easy Buy Back, which will help users upgrade to newer models as Samsung continues to innovate and bring latest technology.

Customers can buy any of these smartphones through participating banks’ (HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Citibank and Standard Chartered) credit card and avail the Samsung’s easy 18- month EMI scheme, at applicable interest rates. Users can upgrade to the latest Samsung Galaxy devices after six months by using the Easy BuyBack service, powered by Ingram Micro.

Here is how it works

  • Purchase the Samsung smart device of your choice on your credit card.
  • Convert the credit card payment to 18 low EMI installments (depending on your choice of device).
  • You can choose to retain the device by paying the EMIs for the full duration.
  • Or you have the choice of selling the device after a minimum of 3 months of use under the ‘Easy Buy-Back Service’.
  • In order to do so, just call the dedicated helpline (1800 120 6633) to get your phone evaluated and know about the Easy Buy Back offer.
  • The amount will get transferred to your account and you can move on to the next, and the latest, Galaxy device.
  • The EMIs of your first purchase will continue as before.

The Stay New plan will be rolled out in stores across the country from January 1st until March 31st, 2014, or until stocks last. It is also available at Samsung India eStore. For more info head to samsung.com/in/staynew/
