Binatone India has launched APP STAR Android tablet for Kids. We had already seen Swipe and HCL launching kids’ tablets this month. Even this one comes with similar features such as child friendly menu with parental controls. Binatone had already launched these tablets in UK and the European markets . It has a 7” capacitive-touch screen display, comes with a touch-pen, runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and has bespoke children’s operating system that lets children to navigate easily. It is powered by a 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor.
The tablet has removable protective bumpers that prevents the tablet from knocks and bumps. It has a front facing camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory and expandable memory up to 16GB with microSD. It has rechargeable battery that offers up to 4 hours of usage.
It has two modes, APP STAR mode and PARENT mode for both Kids and Parents. It comes pre-loaded with fun games, educational apps, art studios, e-books, audio-books, music player, camera with video recorder and has 250 free appss. Binatone plans to release Fun Karaoke, Speaker dock, Racing Car, Helicopter and accessory pack during the X-mas time.
The Binatone APP STAR is priced at Rs. 9999 and would be available across India during the festive season.
