YouTube for iPhone and iPad v2.0 update brings watch while you search and play all button in playlist

YouTube for iPhone and iPad v2.0

Google has released an update for iOS and Android YouTube apps that lets the users size down a video so that they can continue to search YouTube for more content. We reported about the YouTube app update for Android recently rolling out widely.

The latest YouTube update comes for both iOS and Android users together and aims to make users hooked into YouTube. The card based UI is much more noticeable now and while the users are watching videos either in small mode or full-screen mode, they have an option to make it small and running at the bottom right corner.

This feature resembles Samsung’s pop-out video, but here the video works only within the YouTube app. The main motivation behind this feature is to let users browse for more videos while they watching their videos. The video can be shrunk down either by pressing the down arrow on the top left corner or shrink icon on the bottom-right corner. Both these options scale down the video and push it down to bottom-right where it continues to run. To bring back the full screen back, a single tap on the video or swiping up from the video would do. A swipe left or a swipe right on the small video closes it.

The update also comes with better support for Chromecast and Play all option that lets you watch all videos in a playlist instead of having to queue it up manually.
