ZTE to unveil Grand S with 5-inch 1080p display at CES 2013

ZTE has scheduled an event on January 8th at CES 2013 to launch their flagship Grands S smartphone in its high-end Grand Series. The company has also revealed that this would be the world’s thinnest 5-inch Smartphone with a FHD 1080p ( 1920 × 1080 pixels) display.

HTC was the first company to release the J Butterfly with a 5-inch 1080p display for Japan, that launched as Droid DNA in the US. The  global variant HTC Butterfly was recently announced. Oppo Find 5 with Full HD display was announced earlier this week, and is expect to launch in select markets early 2013.

The ZTE Grand S would have a ceramic build and feature a traditional Chinese style. Complete specifications of the device are not available yet, but since this is the company’s flagship device, we can expect a quad-core processor, Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and a 2GB RAM. We will definitely get you more details about the device from the launch event next month.
