LG Nexus 4 pre-order page goes live early, specs confirmed

Looks like Carphone Warehouse has jumped the gun and put up the Google’s LG Nexus 4 pre-order page online, a week ahead of the Google’s Android event slated for 29th October. These specs and the image are similar to the one surfaced earlier this month and the press shot with Nexus branding that leaked yesterday.

LG Nexus 4 specifications

  • 4.7-inch (1280×768 pixels) display with 320ppi, Gorilla Glass 2 protection
  • 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor
  • Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean)
  • 8MP camera with LED flash and 1080p HD video recording, front-facing camera
  • 9.1 mm thick
  • 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC
  • 2GB RAM, 8GB storage
According to the site the phone will have 8GB of storage which might be app storage, but the Internal memory is not mentioned. The phone will not have a memory card slot and the battery capacity is also not mentioned. The overview page says it would come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, but the specs page says Android OS, v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean), so it is not clear about the OS on the device yet. It would be available from Vodafone and O2 in UK for free on a 31 GBP /month 2-year contract and would be delivered on October 30.
