Firefox for Android v15.0 brings new tablet UI, Swipe gesture to close tabs and more

Mozilla has updated the Firefox app for Android to version 15.0 that brings Native UI for Tablets, including faster startup and Awesome Bar that lets you access Top Sites, Bookmarks, and History. This update also includes features such as option to request Desktop sites, swipe gesture to close tabs and more new features.

  • Text Selection fixed
  • Acess Desktop site from the menu
  • Better tabs experience swipe to close option
  • Support for SPDY networking protocol v3
  • Pause, resume, cancel, and retry options now available for download manager
  • Bookmarks and history can be imported from stock browser in the Settings
