Galaxy Tab to cost Rs.38000 in India ?

Samsung India is launching the Galaxy Tab in India today and has not revealed the price of the device so far . Now a landing page on the Samsung India’s website takes us to online retailer LetsBuy who’s quoting a price of Rs.38000/- for the Galaxy Tab. Also you have to pay Rs.1000 to Pre-book the Android Tablet and you get a Samsung Bluetooth Handset.

You can also a Request Demo just in-case you want to see the device in action. The stocks are expected to arrive in 12 days from now according to the website.We surely think that the asking price for the device is pretty high considering the price sensitive Indian market. But hey , Samsung sells tons of TVs which cost much more than the Galaxy Tab. How about bundling a Galaxy Tab with a TV ?

We should have official announcement regarding the price later today , but don’t expect it to be very cheap !

    At this cost in India Samsung Galaxy Tab will not be an iPad killer but rather I would say iPhone loser. At this price iPad is the best.

    I wonder whether getting #Android tablet at this price could be reasonable or logical.
    Other day, I heard some domestic manufacturer announced #Android 1.7 tablet for 9999/-. Of course that peice is no match for #Galaxy Tab but still a pricr tag of 38000/- appears beyond justification.
    Having said that I congratulate #Samsung for bringing its Galaxy Tab to Indian market well in time.

    Just a WARNING: See to it that you ensure you get the bluetooth and the leather case they offering before the purchase….cause after the purchase you wont. Been more than 4 days and i havent got it. Also when i try to bring forth this issue by contacting their customer care belive me they dont bother, just kept on transfering my calls from one dept. to another. And now i have instead of the bluetooth and the leather case this…8428454741 and 8418687319 two BP No. It really sucks…to have to take out 7inch device out of the bag and hold it infront of your mouth and talk

    i would like to buy android instead of laptop for studying,but after seeing thins Rs.38,000 for this cellphone is really a useless idea .if u raduse the rate then it will b nice.
