Amazon Echo Look is a voice-controlled camera that will advise you on your outfits

Amazon Echo Look

Amazon has introduced a new device dubbed as Echo Look that comes with a voice controlled camera. Powered by Alexa, Echo Look will use the camera that helps catalog your outfits and rates your look based on “machine learning algorithms with advice from fashion specialists.”

You can use your voice to take full-length photos and short videos with a hands-free camera that includes built-in LED lighting, depth-sensing camera, and computer vision-based background blur. Style Check service from Look will combines machine learning algorithms with advice from fashion specialists on your outfit. You will need to submit two photos for a second opinion on which outfit looks best on you based on fit, color, styling, and current trends. These decisions will get smarter overtime with feedback and input from our team of experienced fashion specialists.

Echo Look helps you discover new brands and styles inspired by your lookbook. Similar to the original Echo speaker, you can ask Alexa on the Echo Look to read you news, play music, or get traffic estimates. Amazon says it will continue to add Alexa skills for the Echo Look as well.

Amazon is currently selling the $200 Echo Look on an invitation-only basis. However, Echo Look is raising some serious security concerns as you are basically getting dressed in front of a device with camera and microphone that is present in your room.
