Recently we reported that the Samsung’s upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S8 will feature stereo speakers like the iPhone 7. Now a new report says that it might ditch the 3.5mm audio jack, similar to the iPhone 7. Samsung could bundle Level Bluetooth headset for the early buyers of the Galaxy S8.

Another report says that it will have a USB Type-C port. Since the Galaxy Note7 had a Type-C port, this was expected. The company will likely introduce new USB Type-C Level series headphones alongside.

Another one says that it will have a Quad HD (2560×1440 pixel resolution) Super AMOLED display, which will be made of  a new material that will offer the best viewing experience, consume less power and have a longer life. The display is said to have a standard RGB arrangement with 11,059,200 pixels.

Earlier reports said that the Galaxy S8 might be the first smartphone to feature optical fingerprint recognition technology so that the fingerprint sensor could be embedded inside the display itself instead of placing it under the home button. Samsung is also expected to ditch the home button.

According to earlier rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be suitable for VR out of the box, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 or Samsung Exynos 8895 10nm SoCs and pack 6GB RAM. It is expected to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in February and go on sale in March.
