Xolo BLACK 1X launching on October 28

Xolo has sent out invite for the launch its new BLACK series smartphone that will called the BLACK 1X. The invite doesn’t reveal any details about the new BLACK series smartphone. The company will unveil the smartphone on Twitter (@MyXOLO) on October 28th from 12PM to 1PM, similar to what it did for the Omega series smartphones back in December last year.

Xolo launched its Xolo BLACK smartphone with a a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 2nd-gen Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, 13-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for depth mapping and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash.

According to Geekbench and GFXBench listings, the Xolo BLACK 1X will come with a 4.6-inch 1080p display, will be powered by 1.3GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 processor with Mali-T720 GPU, run Android 5.1 (Lollipop), come with a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, pack 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It is also expected to come with 4G connectivity and dual SIM support, similar to the first BLACK smartphone.

It is not clear if the design of the new BLACK series smartphone will differ from the first one. We should know all the details including the pricing when it launches next Wednesday.
