Fossil Q Announced – Fashionable Connected Accessories

Fossil has announced a new range of connected fashionable accessories namely the Q Grant, Q Dreamer, Q Reveler and Q Founder. All the connected devices are compatible with Android devices with version 4.3 or higher or iPhone 5 and newer.

All the devices are engineered using Intel Innovation and connect using Bleutooth 4.1. The first device is the Q Grant which can be seen above. It looks like an ordinary analog watch but is able to communicate with your smartphone. It gives you alerts about notifications. The Q Grant has personalised colours for each of your contacts, so that you will know who has called or messaged you using the LED indicators on both sides of the watch. The Q Grant will cost US175-195 based on the band you choose.

The Q Dreamer and Q Reveler are fitness trackers and devices that provide notifications to the users. They come with swappable bands that are available in different colours and styles. Both the devices also have colourful LED notification lights and will cost US$ 125.

Fossil Q Founder

Lastly, you have the Q Founder which is the flagship product. It is powered by Android Wear and has customizable watch faces that you can change with a swipe and tap. (Fossil hasn’t released a photo of the Q Founder yet). It is powered by Intel and is compatible with both Android as well as iOS devices. Like the other devices, it too will keep a track of your activities and provide notifications. It will start at US$ 275.

The Q Grant, Q Reveler and Q Dreamer will go on sale in the US starting from October 25th while the Q Founder will be launched in time for the holiday season in December. The devices come with Q Activity, Q Notifications and Q Curiosity.
