Most of us were hugely disappointed with the lack of multi-touch on the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 especially since it’s a very good all-rounder and having multi-touch would only add to it’s excellence.
The good news is that the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is capable of multi-touch operations. This is what has been claimed by an inside man from Carphone Warehouse’s subsidiary. But this was denied by Sony Ericsson product manager earlier who said that the XPERIA X10 isn’t multi-touch capable.
The insider also claims that the XPERIA X10 will get the ability through a software update in the second half of 2010. It is also said to receive the Android 2.1 upgrade and so the multi-touch support would likely come with that if it exists.
Who is right, I hear you ask. Well, that only time can tell.
