Possible Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini with Snapdragon 808 leaked

Samsung SM-G9198 GFXBench

The benchmark of a phone under model number SM-G9198 has been leaked on GFXBench. The phone could be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini and apparently packs the Snapdragon 808 processor.

The Snapdragon 808 is a 64 bit hexa-core processor that is clocked in at 1.8GHz. It is a more toned down versions of the Snapdragon 810 and has made its appearance first on the LG G4. Yet it is quite a powerful processor and fixes many of the issues that were present on the 810. The device has a 4.6 inch display with a resolution of 1280×768 pixels and has an Adreno 418 GPU. There’s 16GB of internal storage out of which there is 11GB available to the user and there is 2GB of RAM as well.

There is a 16 Megapixel camera at the rear along with a 5 Megapixel camera on the front. The device is currently running on Android 5.1.1 so it should run the same version or newer at launch as well. We aren’t sure if this is in fact the Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini so do take this rumour with a pinch of salt. But regardless of what it will be called upon release, the device is quite a powerful mid-range device.
