Apple’s 12.9 inch iPad may have Bluetooth stylus, NFC, Force touch and more


Rumors about the next iPad or the “iPad Pro” from Apple has been swirling the online world for some time now. Today, a fresh report is suggesting that the upcoming 12.9 inch iPad will support several new features like Bluetooth stylus, NFC, Force touch and more. ipad-air-photo-gallery-6 According to Apple Insider’s source, the next iPad will include an NFC radio that could allow the device to serve as a payment receiving terminal for Apple Pay. It will probably not support the same tap-to-pay facilities that the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus offer. The report also suggests that Apple is working on Bluetooth enabled stylus for the larger iPad that will feature a new touchscreen with improved touch. It is said that the stylus will connect via Bluetooth and sport pressure-sensitive input.

A different report in January had stated that the company is planning to launch a stylus with the iPad Pro. The stylus is said to get advanced features like built-in gyroscopes or accelerometers and it use a Lightning connector to charge. In addition to accessories, the “iPad Pro” may include a USB-C port either in place of or in addition to the Lighting port it currently features.
