Google Keyboard updated with spoken emoji, additional languages and more

Google has updated keyboard app with several features. For starters the app gets support for five new languages including Indian English, Basque, Galician, Swiss Italian, and Latin American Spanish. Google Keyboard was released back in June last year, but it is not available globally for all devices yet.

The version 3.1.19633, changes the position of the voice input key as previously it was next to the space bar, but now it is placed in the suggestions box on the right side. Google has also added support for spoken emoji, which enables users to add select emoji using words such as “smiley face”, “sad face” and a few others. This update doesn’t include Material theme that is available in Google Keyboard in Android L.

As always, the update is rolling out in stages in the Google Play but you can always manually download the APK from the source link below.
