OPPO today launched the OPPO K14 Plus 5G smartphone in India soon after the launch of the K14. This has a large 144Hz AMOLED screen, packs a huge 8000mAh battery, a new rear design, and has IP69K ratings. Here we have the unboxing and the first impressions of the phone.

The phone packs a 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED screen with up to 1,800 nits full-screen brightness and a peak local brightness rated at 3,600 nits and also has up to 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The display has AGC DT-Star D+ glass protection. Outdoor visibility is good.
It is powered by an Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX processor, has up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and has up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16 out of the box.
Thermal management is handled by a 5,000mm² vapor chamber—up from 3,900mm² on the K14—paired with a 19,989mm² graphite dissipation layer.
The phone has a 16MP front camera that uses a Sony IMX480 sensor and an 85° FoV for better selfies. Above the display, there is an earpiece on the top edge that works as a secondary speaker. The phone has an optical fingerprint sensor, and you can see a small 1.9mm bezel below the screen.
Coming to the button placements and ports, the power button and the volume rockers are present on the right. The dual SIM slot, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, and speaker grill are crammed in the bottom. The secondary microphone is on the top, and the IR blaster is on the back.
The phone has a the 50MP rear camera with a new 1/2″ Smartsense SC532HS sensor, f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and a 2MP depth camera with a Galaxy Core 02M1B sensor, f/2.4 aperture. It supports 4K 30fps video recording for the rear and the front only has 1080p 30fps video recording.

The phone has a flat plastic back with a matte finish offering a good in-hand feel, so it doesn’t slip out of your hands easily. The Star White version that we have has nice patterns. It also comes in Solar Orange that has different patterns.
While some have started offering IP69 ratings, the OPPO K14 Plus 5G achieves IP69K certification, the most stringent ingress protection standard available for consumer electronics. It can withstand pressurized water jets at 80°C from multiple angles at close range, allowing the device to endure harsh monsoons and high-pressure cleaning. It packs an 8,000 mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC flash charging.
The OPPO K14 Plus 5G is priced starting at Rs. 29,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model and there is a bank offer, so the effective price is Rs. 25,999. The phone will be available for purchase starting October 8, 2026, coinciding with Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale, and will also be available through the OPPO India e-store.
