Meta has launched Meta Enterprise Platform, a new business focused on helping companies and developers use its AI technologies. Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the platform will form a new pillar of the company’s business, building on its AI models, agents, large-scale infrastructure, and experience working with businesses.
Meta said it already serves billions of people at scale and helps hundreds of millions of businesses reach customers. Initially, the platform will bring its full technology stack to businesses and developers, including:
- Muse agent
- Meta Business Agent
- Muse API
- Muse Code
- Other technologies from Meta’s AI stack
Meta Enterprise Platform
The platform will focus on turning Meta’s AI stack into products and services that companies can deploy for their own businesses. Meta said security and privacy are built into its enterprise products from the outset, as with Muse. Zuckerberg said the platform will help businesses use AI to grow and transform their businesses.
CJ Desai joins Meta
To lead Meta Enterprise Platform, Chirantan “CJ” Desai will join Meta as Chief Enterprise Platform Officer and report directly to Zuckerberg. He joins Meta from MongoDB, where he was CEO and President.
Desai has a track record of building full-stack software and delivering results across AI, infrastructure, business applications, and security. He also has an extensive industry network. Before joining Meta, he held leadership roles at several companies:
- CEO and President at MongoDB
- Product and engineering leadership at Cloudflare
- Nearly eight years at ServiceNow, including President and COO
AI products and services for businesses
Desai said AI will fundamentally redefine how organizations of all sizes innovate, grow, serve customers, and run business operations over the coming years. He said Meta is bringing together advanced models and agents with its experience helping millions of advertisers and hundreds of millions of businesses scale.
Meta Enterprise Platform will make these technologies available as products and services that companies can deploy for their own businesses. Desai said:
Our goal is to make Meta the place enterprises come to scale their businesses.
He also said he is looking forward to working with Meta’s customers along the journey.

Meta has not announced pricing or specific availability details for Meta Enterprise Platform. The company said it will initially focus on bringing its AI technology stack to businesses and developers.
