Bose has announced its new Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds, marking the company’s return to wired earbuds.
The earbuds connect directly to compatible USB-C phones, tablets, and computers. Bose’s proprietary SoundDesign digital signal processing technology supports lossless audio listening, while the USB Audio Class 2 (UAC2) protocol allows the earbuds to accept source input at any sample and bit rate. Playback output is fixed at 24-bit/48kHz.
The wired connection also provides low-latency performance, keeping sound in sync while watching videos, gaming, or creating content. For noise cancellation, Bose QuietControl technology uses four microphones, with two on each earbud, to continuously monitor, react to, and minimize surrounding sound.
The earbuds offer three listening modes:
- Quiet Mode: Reduces outside distractions.
- Aware Mode: Lets surrounding sound in.
- ANC Off Mode: Provides wired listening without active noise cancellation.
For controls and calls, an in-line remote features tactile physical buttons for volume, playback, calls, and switching between noise cancellation modes. A dedicated microphone on the back of the remote provides voice pickup while reducing clothing-contact noise, so users can speak without holding the remote close to their mouth.
The earbuds have a 4.2-foot cable and include soft silicone eartips in small, medium, and large sizes, along with medium and large stability wings. The components can be mixed and matched to find a suitable fit, while the earbuds can also be used without the stability wings.
The earbuds have an IPX4 rating for water resistance and come with a zippered carry case for storage and protection.

Pricing and availability
The Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds are priced at USD 99 (Rs. 9,510 approx.) and will start shipping on October 15. They are available for My Bose exclusive preorder from Bose.com and Best Buy.
The earbuds are available in Black, White Smoke, and limited-edition Dewdrop Mint. Black has blue accents, while White Smoke has lime green accents.
