Meta has announced Ray-Ban Meta Audio, its first audio glasses, along with Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) and additional Meta Glasses styles through its partnership with EssilorLuxottica. The company said it will offer more than 100 glasses options across Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Meta Glasses by the end of the year, including lightweight frames, slimmer designs, and models with longer battery life.
In addition, Meta is expanding the software and app ecosystem for its glasses with regular updates and new AI features. The glasses can provide sports scores and local restaurant recommendations, translate live conversations, and connect to Meta’s personal AI agent, Muse. These capabilities can also be used for tasks such as building healthy habits and managing calendars without reaching for a phone.
Ray-Ban Meta Audio
Ray-Ban Meta Audio is Meta’s first audio glasses and weighs 43 grams. The glasses feature professional-adjustable temple tips, adjustable or swappable nose pads, and overextension hinges. They support music and podcast playback, calls, and hands-free conversations with an AI assistant, while Meta says their call voice capture is clearer than earbuds.
The main specifications and design details include:
- Up to 12 hours of use on a single charge
- Up to 48 additional hours from the included charging case
- 23 colour and lens combinations
- Clubmaster and Burbank styles
- Clubmaster with a retro-inspired silhouette
- Burbank with a rectangular design
- Compatibility with a wide range of optical prescriptions

Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3)
Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) is the next generation of Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses, with a slimmer and more comfortable design, longer battery life, and a customizable action button for instant access to Meta AI.
The glasses come in 27 colour and lens combinations across three styles:
- Aviator: Includes a limited-edition version marking the 90th anniversary of the Ray-Ban Aviator with a vintage-inspired colourway
- Zena: A new cat-eye frame
- Wayfarer: Part of the Gen 3 lineup
Gen 3 offers up to nine hours of battery life, one hour more than Gen 2, and includes professional-adjustable temple tips for a better fit. Its new six-microphone array cuts more than 90% of background noise for calls and voice commands, including in windy or crowded streets.

For imaging, the glasses feature a 12MP camera and support 3K Ultra HD video recording. Users can capture photos and videos hands-free, save and share them, and use dynamic photos to choose the preferred frame from captured footage. A built-in LED helps make people around the wearer aware when photos or video are being recorded.
Later this year, Meta AI glasses will be the first consumer devices that enable users to capture and experience videos in Dolby Atmos with 360-degree spatial sound. The glasses handle the recording and spatial audio capture.
More Meta Glasses styles and collaborations
Meta is expanding its Meta Glasses collection, which launched earlier this year through its partnership with EssilorLuxottica. The expansion adds the Capri and Nova styles, while new collections and customization options provide additional choices. The Meta Glasses by Kylie Jenner collection is getting a new Ivory colourway based on the Starfire style.
Meta has also introduced a new Meta Glasses collection designed with LISA. The collection includes two styles:
- Meta Adventurer LISA Edition: Moonlit Sky frame with Blush lenses
- Meta Capri LISA Edition: Eclipse cat-eye frame with grey lenses
Both LISA Edition styles support prescriptions. The collection also includes a custom star on the case and frames, special-edition case charms inspired by LISA’s pets, and digital photocards that users can unlock with the glasses.

Meanwhile, Meta is introducing the limited-edition Meta Fury with a clear frame and mirrored lenses. It is joined by a new Meta Adventurer with a black frame, grey lenses, and a plug-in case.
The Mix & Match program allows users to customize any pair of Meta Glasses at a Meta Lab store or online by selecting the frame, lenses, and case colour.
