Samsung has revealed 2 new handsets recently, the full touch screen handset, Samsung S7070 and the Clamshell Device S5150 codenamed as Olivia. The release of these phone also marks the start of the new “Diva” design line in Samsung.
Samsung S7070 which runs on TouchWiz UI features a 3″ WQVGA resistive touchscreen display and a 5 Megapixel Autofocus camera. Other features of this phone are built-in FM radio and microSD card slot, a standard microUSB connector, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and Support for EDGE/GPRS. The pricing of the device is yet to known and it is supposed to hit the shelves in Q1 2010.
Samsung S5150 Olivia is a female oriented clamshell device. It has a 2.2″ QVGA display, a secondary display that can show the current date, the time and the battery status, hidden behind the various mirror panels on the device. The phone also possesses a 3 Megapixel Camera, a microSD card slot and support for Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0 and EDGE/GPRS.
