Google has updated the Google Search app for Android devices running on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). This brings new Google Now cards for nearby events, Travel cards with boarding passes (US only), Weather cards with weather alert at upcoming travel destination, Birthday cards that lets you know about your friends’ Birthdays, New voice actions to find out the songs and to scan a bar code.
