Nokia 109 affordable entry-level phone announced


Nokia has announced Nokia 109 that is affordable and aimed at young and urban consumers. It has similar features as the Dual SIM 110 that was announced in May including a 1.8-inch (128 x 160 pixels) TFT display, VGA camera, 32 GB microSD card support, GPRS/EDGE connectivity, Bluetooth v2.1 with EDR, 3.5 mm AV connector and FM Radio with recording. It has Loud and clear inbuilt speaker that offers audio output up to 103 phons. It is 14.8 mm thick and weighs 77g. It runs on Nokia Series 40 OS.

It has apps to access Facebook, Twitter and social media networks. It comes with Exclusive 10 Games Gift from EA from Nokia Store and has Nokia Xpress browser that consume less data by up to 90%. It has 800  mAh battery with up to 7.8  hours talk time, up to 21.5 music playback and up to 33 days standby.

The Nokia 109 would be available in black and cyan colors from Q4 2012 in China, Asia Pacific region and Europe and is priced at $42 USD (~Rs. 2300).
