Bharti Airtel has announced an update to its postpaid portfolio, introducing bundled international roaming benefits alongside existing network services, digital security tools, and entertainment subscriptions. The revised plans take effect on October 8, 2026.
Key Features and International Roaming Inclusions
Under the revised lineup, subscribers receive one complimentary international roaming pack per year. The pack provides:
- Data: 5GB
- Voice Calls: 60 minutes
- Outgoing SMS: 25 messages
- Incoming SMS: Free
- Validity: 5 days
Customers can choose when to activate the five-day validity window during international travel. On shared family plans, the annual roaming allowance is allocated to each active SIM individually.
Beyond international roaming, the plans include standard domestic calling, data allowances supported by Airtel’s Fast Lane network infrastructure, and automated network-level filtering designed to block spam and malicious links. Subscribers also receive access to promotional event ticketing via the Airtel Postpaid Advantage Club.

Availability and Migration Process
Starting October 8, 2026, the updated plans will be open to both new and existing subscribers:
- Existing Airtel Users: Customers on legacy postpaid plans or prepaid connections can upgrade directly via the Airtel Thanks app or at retail Airtel Stores.
- New and Porting Users: Non-Airtel users can request a switch or Mobile Number Portability (MNP) to the new postpaid plans through the Airtel app or by visiting a physical store location.
