After teasers, Xiaomi has revealed the design of the REDMI K Pad, the company’s first flagship tablet from REDMI. The company has also confirmed that the tablet will feature an 8.8-inch LCD screen.
On the back, there is a single camera with LED flash, microphone below the camera and there is a text Gamma Antenna. The volume rockers are present on the right, and the power button is on the top.
Even though only the purple colour variant of the tablet is shown in the image, it should come in other colours as well.
The REDMI Pad K has also surfaced in Geekbench listing with the model number Xiaomi 25079RPDCC revealing Dimensity 9400+ SoC, and 16GB of RAM. It will run Android 15. The scores are on par with other tablet with the same chip as the iQOO Pad 5 Pro.
REDMI China head Thomas Wang already said that the tablet will use industry’s top LCD screen with ultra-high resolution, dual-driver ICs for synchronization of data, brightness, color, etc. To keep the weight less and make it thin, the company has used special core components such as motors, speakers, and screen, he added.
According to reports, the tablet will use a 3K LCD CSOT 16:10 aspect ratio LCD screen with 165Hz refresh rate and come with 67W fast charging.
Xiaomi China head Lu Weibing is hosting a live broadcast on June 18th in China to reveal more details about the REDMI K Pad, REDMI K80 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro and more devices ahead of the launch event later this month.
