realme introduced the GT Neo5 smartphone last year with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and the GT Neo5 SE was introduced a few months after that with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC.
According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the realme GT Neo6 series will feature Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (SM7675) and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (SM8635) SoCs. He said that these are not the first phones to get the chips.
The phones are said to get 1.5K OLED screen, 100W fast charging, and is said to start at less than 1999 yuan (USD 277 / Rs. 23,025 approx.).
realme RMX3851 surfaced in Geekbench listing recently with Snapdragon SM8635 or Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, which could be realme GT Neo6. This revealed 1638 single core and 3991 multi-core scores, 16GB of RAM and Android 14.
This reveals 1 x 3.01GHz Cortex-X4 + 4 x 2.61GHz Cortex-A720 + 3x 1.84GHz Cortex-A520 CPU, with similar architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but this is said to use Adreno 735 GPU.
Even the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (SM7675) is said to use a similar architecture, but with different clock speeds – 1 x 2.9GHz Cortex-X4 + 4 x 2.61GHz Cortex-A720 + 3x 1.9GHz Cortex-A520 CPU and Adreno 732 GPU.
The Qualcomm SM7675 and SM8635 chips are rumored to launch sometime later this March 2024, so we can expect the realme GT Neo6 series to be introduced next month.
