KRAFTON has announced the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES (BGIS) 2023, set to be the largest Battle Royale Esports tournament in the country. What makes this event even more thrilling is that it will feature a LAN event finale, a first for BGIS.
The tournament will witness thousands of teams competing fiercely for a staggering prize pool of INR 2 crore. To ensure an inclusive experience, the Grand Finals will be broadcast in 10 languages, including English, Hindi, and 8 other regional languages, making it accessible to gamers across the nation.
The BGIS 2023 will kick off with “The Grind” today, July 20th, and conclude with the Offline Grand Finals on October 14th. The tournament is divided into two phases: Online qualifiers and the highly anticipated Offline Grand Finals, which will be held on-ground from October 12th to 14th.
BGIS 2023 Format and Timeline
The tournament starts with The Grind, where 256 invited teams compete to secure their position among the top 64 teams, advancing to Round 2 and Round 3. The qualified teams will then proceed to the main event. You can catch The Grind on KRAFTON INDIA ESPORTS YouTube channel, starting 20th July, every day at 12pm IST.
Registrations will take place from July 24th to August 2nd, with verifications occurring from August 3rd to August 9th. The intense in-game qualifiers will be held from August 10th to August 17th, where the top 2048 teams will qualify for Round 1.
Thrilling LAN Finale
The journey continues with Round 1 to Round 6, where teams will battle it out to secure their spots in the BGIS Grand Finals. The Offline Grand Finals will be held from October 12th to 14th, where the best teams will compete for ultimate glory.
