At its 2022 ‘Pinnacle of Performance’ online event, ASUS introduced new Zenbook and VivoBook models. These models feature up to 120Hz OLED display, and there are also models with 4K OLED 60Hz display. There are models with up to 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processors and with up to RTX 3070 Ti GPU.
Zenbook Pro 16X OLED
The Zenbook Pro 16X OLED has a hinge that raises the back of the keyboard deck up to 7°, opening a spacious intake for cooling air. It has ASUS IceCool Pro dual-fan thermal technology under the hood, AAS Ultra enables this laptop to offer a 140W TDP in Performance Mode. It has all-metal chassis and the tilting mechanism directs the sound from the dual tweeters for a better stereo image.
The laptop has 4K OLED screen, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, VESA Display HDR True Black 500 certification, ultra-low 0.2ms response time. There is an updated ASUS Dial, an intuitive physical rotary controller for instant and precise fingertip control.
The extra-large touchpad features haptic feedback technology and it offers NumberPad, as well. It has Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports, integrated SD card reader, HDMI 2.1 port and a USB Type-A port.

Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED
The Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED has a more compact design with upgraded displays, an all-new hinge mechanism, up to Core i9-12900H CPU and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU.
The primary display offers a 2.8K resolution, is Pantone Validated for color accuracy, and offers 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The screen offers 120Hz refresh. The ScreenPad Plus is a 12.7-inch, full-width secondary touchscreen with support for the latest high-precision styluses, such as ASUS Pen 2.0.
The redesigned AAS Ultra tilt mechanism raises up the rear of ScreenPad Plus by up to 20mm, tilting it by 12° when the laptop is opened. It also enhances cooling by allowing 38% more airflow than the previous generation. ASUS IceCool tech, with its dual-fan arrangement and the superior air intake offered by AAS ultra, makes components operating at their full potential.

The Zenbook Pro 17 is the first ever 17.3-inch Zenbook that offers 2560×1440 resolution with a fluid 165Hz refresh rate. Zenbook S 13 OLED
The convertible Zenbook S 13 Flip OLED weighs just 1.1kg and is only 14.9mm thin, and the Zenbook S 13 OLED is just 1kg. These have 67Wh batteries and Zenbook S 13 Flip is powered by 12th Gen Intel CPUs and the AMD 6000 series CPUs power the Zenbook S 13 OLED.
These come in Refined White or introspective Ponder Blue. In select regions, the Zenbook S 13 OLED come in Vestige Beige and Aqua Celadon. The new monogram logo on the lid looks to the future with its simple, expressive lines and refined sensibility, says the company.
These feature Slim NanoEdge display 16:10 OLED panels and are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified for deeper blacks and infinite contrast. Select a touchscreen models have high-precision MPP 2.0 stylus support. These have stereo speakers certified by Harman Kardon, powered by a smart amplifier that’s up to 3.5X louder than a standard amplifier using the same speakers, says ASUS.

Vivobook OLED 2022
The Vivobook Pro 16X OLED and Vivobook Pro 16 OLED feature a 16-inch display. There is also a more compact 14.5-inch Vivobook Pro 14X OLED and there is 15.6-inch Vivobook Pro 15X OLED and Vivobook Pro 15 OLED in the middle in the Vivobook 2022 lineup.
These have up to 12th Gen Intel Core i9 12900H and AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processor option, up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics, and 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. There is ASUS IceCool Pro thermal technology.
These have OLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and an ultra-low 0.2ms response time. Other display options include OLED panels with 4K resolutions and 600-nit peak brightness. These are Pantone Validated for industry-standard color rendering, up to VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certified for high contrast and deep blacks, and have a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The models are TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue-light emissions.
These have Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 ports, HDMI 2.1, SD Express 7.0 microSD card readers, Wi-Fi 6E, and feature the unique and intuitive ASUS DialPad virtual rotary control that gives you a customizable analog input for use in your favorite creative apps.
The 14.5-inch Vivobook S 14X OLED, 16-inch Vivobook S 16X OLED, Vivobook S 14 OLED and Vivobook S15 OLED have all-new chassis design. Some of these come in Indie Black, Neutral Grey, Brave Green, Midnight Black, Solar Silver, or Sand Grey, depending on your model and region—and a raised logo tab on the lid.
The Vivobook S series have a lay-flat 180° hinges, powerful Harman Kardon-certified audio system, ASUS AI Noise-Canceling Technology, physical webcam shield and ASUS 3DNR technology that make conference calls safer and clearer, even in low-light conditions.
These will roll out in coming months, and the pricing should be available during the roll-out.
