Apple launches free service program for Watch Series 6 with blank screen issue

For the Apple Watch Series 6 blank screen issue, customers will receive a free repair service from the firm this week, said Apple. Some users have expressed their dissatisfaction with their Watch Series 6 smartwatch, and Apple has responded by providing a free repair service.

The company estimates that just a small percentage of customers are affected by the blank screen issue. It claims that a small percentage of Watch Series 6 devices may have become permanently black. To ensure that everyone receives the right kind of service, Apple is allowing Apple Watch Series 6 customers to determine if their device is qualified for the free repair.

According to reports, the blank screen issue affected Apple Watch Series 6 40mm models manufactured between April and September 2021. As a result, the number of people who can bring the model for repair will most likely be limited throughout the world. Apple says that the free service may only be available in the place where you bought that watch.

If you have an Apple Watch Series 6 and would like to see if it qualifies for the free repair service, go to Apple Support and look for the serial number checker. The company also said that if your Apple Watch Series 6 has been damaged in any way, it will fix it first, which will cost the respective owners’ money. Finally, it states that this free service programme is only valid for two years after the Apple Watch Series 6 is initially sold at a retail store.
