Apple may launch 7.5 to 8-inch foldable phone in 2023

Right now, Apple is working on various projects right from iPhone 13 to Electric cars. One among them is Foldable phones. The details regarding the launch of foldable phones have surfaced recently, thanks to reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

According to the report, the Cupertino tech giant could launch a foldable device with a 7.5-8-inch display around 2023. However, the launch depends on Apple’s capability to solve various issues including “key technology and mass production issues” this year.

The analyst also says that the product is still in the research stage and has not officially kicked off. However, previous rumors have indicated Apple could still decide not to proceed with it.

On the other hand, Apple has been working with both the South Korean tech giant LG and Samsung on foldable OLED display technology. Another report claims the display would be in the range of 7.3–7.6 inches.

In another fresh rumor, Ming Chi-Kuo has revealed in a report that Apple will release a new updated iPhone SE smartphone in 2022 and that some models will ditch the notch-design in favour of a punch-hole.

The third-generation iPhone SE is now rumoured to launch either in the second half of 2021 or early 2022. The device is expected to feature a similar design, and only have major changes such as 5G support and an upgraded processor. This does conflict with earlier rumours, however, which claim that the next iPhone SE will have TouchID and a new full-front display design.
