Apple said to launch redesigned MacBooks with Apple Silicon in second half of 2021

A few weeks back, Apple launched a range of Macbooks with its 5nm M1 chip at its ‘One More Thing’ event. As per the recent report, the Cupertino giant plans to release additional MacBook models with Apple Silicon in the second half of 2021.

The report also says that the upcoming MacBook models will feature a new design, however, there is no information on which models these will be. Apple is said to have 7 products in the pipeline with mini-LED displays – a 12.9-inch ‌iPad Pro‌, a 27-inch iMac Pro, a 14.1-inch MacBook Pro, a 16-inch ‌MacBook Pro‌, a 10.2.-inch ‌‌iPad‌‌, and a 7.9-inch ‌‌‌iPad‌‌‌ mini.

On the other hand, the reports add that the demand for the new iPad Air has been better than expected, and the momentum is expected to gain as the upcoming iPads will feature Mini-LED backlighting and 5G support.

Apple is expected to contract Chinese manufacturer Jialianyi for its LCP (liquid crystal polymer) soft boards technology, bringing the company as part of its supply chain for various Apple products.

Furthermore, the report hints at the launch of a low-priced iPad in the second half and a third-generation AirPods in the first half of 2021. These AirPods will have a shorter stem and replaceable ear tips design similar to the AirPods Pro.
