Apple Music for Android gets support for Android Auto, lyric search, redesigned artist pages and more

Apple Music for Android is getting a new update today which brings support for Android Auto, lyric search, redesigned artist pages, and more. These features were tested in private Apple Music beta last month.

Thanks to Android Auto supports, Apple Music users will finally get the ability to control audio playback through their car including changing tracks, navigating through playlists, and more. The feature works much like it does with other audio apps. It also lets you search songs by lyrics much like its iOS counterpart.

Users can simply type in a lyrics from a song, and Apple Music will search the library to find the song for you. Other changes include support for recently-announced top 100 charts, as well as Friends Mixes. You can download Apple Music for Android directly from Play Store.
