HTC U12+ price, color variants surface ahead of announcement on May 23

HTC is all set to launch the U12+ at an event on May 23rd, while most of the specifications are out in the open, it is the price and sale date that is under the wraps. However, according to report from Taiwanese news, the pricing of the flagship and its variants is revealed.

According to the report, The HTC U12+ 64GB variant is said to be priced at NT$ 21,900 ($734 or Rs.49,306 approx.) and NT$ 22,900 ($768 or Rs.51,628 approx.) while the 128GB model will cost NTD23,900 ($801 or Rs.53,846) to NTD24,900 ($834 or Rs.56,032). These prices are in no way in the mid-range segment and put the phone right with Samsung and Pixel series phones.

The HTC U12+ is said to arrive in Black, Red Rose, Violet and “Translucent” colors and sports a 6-inches screen QHD+ display. It will come in single and dual-SIM variants. As for the other specifications, it will be powered by the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU, 6GB RAM, 64/128GB storage.
