HTC Ocean tipped to be called as HTC U 11

Earlier this week, first image of HTC’s upcoming flagship HTC U, code named Ocean surfaced in images. Now, popular tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks has stated citing unnamed source that the real name of HTC Ocean will be HTC U 11.

The report goes on saying that the HTC U 11 will be sold in five different colors; white, black, blue, red, and silver and not all of the colors will be available in all markets.

  • 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, IMX362 sensor, OIS, 4K video recording
  • 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX351 sensor
  • Fingerprint sensor
  •  Water and dust resistant (IP57)
  • 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS with GLONASS, NFC, USB 3.1 Type-C

HTC U 11 announcement is set for May 16. It is an online event that will be streamed live and starts at 2AM New York Time (11:30 AM IST) on HTC site.
